Over Night Shipping

To ensure the health and safety of our live animals, we require that all reptile and amphibian orders be shipped via overnight delivery to your nearest FedEx Hub (absolutely NO exceptions) This rapid shipping method is essential to minimize the stress on these animals, and to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition. It's important to note that, for the LAG to apply, all live animal orders must be picked up at the nearest FedEx hub within 30 minutes of the animal arriving.

Two-Day Shipping (Plants & Pods)

For isopod, springtail and plant purchases, we offer a Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) with 2-day shipping. This extra step is crucial, as it prevents exposure to extreme temperatures and reduces the risk of transit delays.

Free Shipping over $50

For orders containing ONLY dry goods, we offer free shipping on all orders over $50. This free shipping applies exclusively to non-living items.

Standard Shipping

We provide a flat-rate shipping option within the U.S. for dry goods, ensuring a predictable and straightforward shipping experience for our customers.

Important Information

All animal shipments are sent using FedEx Priority Overnight and sent directly to your local FedEx Hub. Our team monitors temperatures both when scheduling and on the day of shipment to ensure your animals’ safety.

To protect your animals:

  • We will postpone shipment if the origin temperature is above 90°F.

  • We will delay shipment if the destination temperature is above 90°F or if the overnight low drops below 30°F.

  • Additionally, you can opt to pick up your animals directly at our next show, ensuring a safe and convenient transfer.

Sam’s Reptile Shop guarantees that animals will arrive alive and in good health, as long as:

  • When package is held at a FedEx Ship Center or UPS Customer Center, it is picked up within thirty minutes of arrival.

At Sam’s Reptile Shop, we prioritize the health of your plants, so we may delay shipments if we believe that current temperatures could harm them. Your order will be dispatched once conditions improve.

We offer a live arrival guarantee on all live plants shipped via next-day or two-day service, regardless of the weather. Rest assured; our checkout process will guide you in choosing a shipping method that includes coverage.
